OUAT

OUAT (Once Upon A Time) is a hit television series on ABC network. It is based on fairytale characters with a twist. They are stuck in a town called Storybrook because of the evil queen or in this town Regina. None of the fairytale characters remember who they truly are and are stuck in time. Emma Swan is in the mordern world until her son Henry showed up a decade later. He then takes her to Storybrooke saying she is the only one who can break the curse. She decides to stay in the town and finds out the truth about it all.
Upcoming in the series is season 5 we learn that we have a new dark one. Also in season 5 there have been rumors that Ruby (red riding hood), Aurora, and Merida is coming onto the show. You can watch the series on Netflix but unfortunately they only have season 1, 2, and 3. The series premier will be on September 27, where we have the darkest swan of them all.

    1. That is very true, without one of the main characters in any show it wouldn't be the same. Out of the whole show, I think the best villain would be Regina Mills or Maleficent. For the male villain i would pick the on and only Rumpelstiltskin. Are you excited about season 5?

    3. There are more moments like that in my opinion, and I would totally recommend it to you. They have been to different places and at least one new character came to every season. If you do happen to watch it please tell me what you think about it.

    5. Well Peter Pan is on the show he is only on one season. He is a cunning person and loves to trick others. Peter Pan (Robbie Kay) is on a new show called Heroes Reborn it started recently but i haven't checked it out yet.

  2. I always wanted to check out that show. Unfortunately, I can not view things out of order or midway through so I need to see if I can start from the beginning and watch the first season.

I do not watch television much but I do love books so I look forward to reading some of your book reviews.

    1. I would recommend the show because it isn't only about the happily ever after because most of the characters on the show don't get their fairy tale ending. The show provides a twist to the border Disney stories. I am always a reader and I can't wait for you to read the book reviews. I mostly read teen fiction, or adult novels. If you want you can recommend some books or some of your favorites.

    2. I am going to check and see if there are copies of Once Upon A Time at the Library. I will let you know if I get them and when I start viewing.

I recently finished a Young Adult novel - The Flame in the Midst by Kat Grindstaff. I kept getting frustrated with the main character (a young lady, I believe she was turning 13) who found out that she was actually stolen from her family. It was interesting though. They consider it a "dark novel". I keep track of the books I read on Goodreads. They often have recommendations based on books you have read. I am now reading "Crazy Rich Asians" It is suppose to be a comedy.

    3. I do know for a fact that there are Once Upon a Time novels but I don't know if they are at the library. I haven't read that one yet but i have been wanting too. Recently, I have been reading The Kite Runner. My next blog which will be up on Friday is gonna be a review on that story. The Kite Runner is mostly based on friendship and betrayal.

    4. I had the Kite Runner on my to-read list. I did check it out once but it ended up being due before I could get into it. I think I will add it to my list this week. Looking forward to your review.

I didn't know about the Once Upon a Time novels. I will see if the library has them when I place the television series on hold. I do like stories that give a twist on old favorites/fairytales/legends. I recently did the first 3 books for the "The Land of Stories" series by Chris Colfer.
