SPOILERS FOR SEASON 1 AND 2 OF ONCE UPON A TIME!! DO NOT READ FUTHER IF YOU DON'T WANNA KNOW!!
Today will officially be the second episode of Season 5 on Once Upon a Time. It starts at 9 pm. Season 1 and 2 brought out a sense of what the characters are like and their personality. We still didn't find their whole back story though.
Season 1 is where Emma comes to Storybrooke. It's also where we see the hatred from Regina Mills aka the Evil Queen. In season 1, Henry tries to get Emma Swan to believe about the curse. Since Henry believes that Emma is the savior, he tries to bring her back. In season 1 we also see who fairy tale characters are who in the real world. We also see the back stories of some characters. While Emma only came to drop off Henry, she ended up staying after Regina's failed attempts at making her leave. Regina also informs us about Emma's criminal record. Mary Marygaret ends up going to jail after being accused of murder of Kathryn Nolan who is David's wife. In the end of the season Regina gives Emma an apple turnover. Henry warns her about it when she tries to say goodbye to him. He ends up falling asleep and Emma and Regina have to save Henry before it is too late.
After Emma gives a good beat down to Regina, they both go to Mr. Gold to find the potion of true love. Emma ends up having to go under the library to slay the dragon who we find out is Maleficent. On the way back to the library, the elevator stops working and she throws the potion to Gold (Rumpelstiltskin) but ends up fleeing, and she gets tricked. They get a call to the hospital and find out Henry didn't make it. Emma ends up kissing Henry on the forehead and he wakes up. The curse ends up broken. In the end we find out that Gold brought magic back into the town.
The next post will include who each fairy character portrays and some of their background. I might also include a book review.
Thanks for the spoiler alert. It saved me. I am starting Season 1, disc 1 today.
ReplyDeleteNo problem, I always hate it when others spoil things for me.
ReplyDeleteI hear ya. I did finish disc 1 which has the first 5 episodes. What I learned is DO NOT MAKE A DEAL WITH RUMPLESTILTKSIN! Jiminy Crickets story was so sad to me. Henry is one determined young man. I am truly up in the air whether I feel like Regina loves her son. Maybe she really does but like so many of us we love in the wrong way or for the wrong reasons. Anyway, I am enjoying this series so far, hope to get through Disc 2 today and I look forward to reading your blog.
DeleteYou said you may have a book review coming up, whiat book are you reading now? Have a great week
I am reading Ninth Ward by Jewell Parker Rhodes. My post later today will be a review from that book. NEVER MAKE A DEAL WITH HIM!
DeleteGreat blog post. I don't watch the show, but cool how much you know from season one and two.
ReplyDeleteMore Season 1 thoughts: The Red/Peter/Wolf/Granny story was so heartbreaking. The Rumplestiltskin actor does an amazing job
ReplyDeleteYa it was, sometimes parents do stuff for a good reason.
DeleteYes they do! I am sure your parents would love to know you understand. Have a great week. Starting Season 2 today. I must admit I keep wondering who is who when I try to guess what characters will be introduced this season and who they are in Storybrooke.
